We have been very happy with our VIDCO systems. We have
been using VIDCO slave monitoring since 1982 in our open-heart rooms. We currently
have the MDP-2060 system in our heart rooms, which we installed in 1999. Our
experience with VIDCO has been excellent over the 20+ years of using their equipment.
Tech support is always prompt, and I have found them to be very knowledgeable
about their product and the products it interfaces with. We have looked at other
manufacturers of slave monitoring systems, but our staff feels that VIDCO provides
the best picture on the market. The surgeons are very picky about the quality
of the waveforms on the slave monitors and VIDCO provides the sharpest and brightest
image. Over these past 20 years, I am impressed with how well their product has
held up. I would recommend VIDCO to anyone in need of a good, trouble-free slave
monitoring system.

I needed
to devise an instrumentation system that would enable the collection and time-synchronized
display of signals from different sources—video camera,
pressure transducers, and a vital signs monitor. Vendors who provided most of
the individual components I thought would be required to tell me how their own
products worked, but appeared to have no understanding or information pertinent
to integrating them into a single system. VIDCO was a notable exception. When
I discussed my project with them, they helped me determine not only how one of
their products could help, but also gave me suggestions about other products
that could be used, and how. Later, I needed to modify my VIDCO unit, and the
company was able to accommodate my nonstandard request in an expedient and helpful
fashion. They've even contacted me since to find out if, and how, the system
was working! I really appreciated their help, would not hesitate to use their
services and products again, and recommend them without hesitation.

VIDCO's
service and support is outstanding amongst medical device manufacturers. With
their help, we installed off-the-shelf devices from another manufacturer, adding
features the OEM wouldn't attempt. Recently, when installing new technology,
VIDCO helped resolve a serial communication problem between two large medical
equipment manufacturers. They enabled us to meet hospital initiatives when other
manufacturers weren't willing to update their products. VIDCO's help was instrumental
in the successful installation of patient monitors at a number of sites in the
hospital.

We have
been using our VIDCO NetViewer central monitor for the past year. The service
has been superb. The NetViewer monitor itself has been of great value to our
department and certainly a lot less expensive than using a central CIC monitoring
system, as our VIDCO NetViewer monitor is compatible to our current system in
the hospital. I would recommend using this product in any Emergency department
or any department where central monitoring is of value.
