Several departments share our hospital patient network. Can we select
which patients we want to display from any of the departments? Yes.
How many patients can the product display at one time? Users can choose to display from 1 to 16 patients. The system provides
viewing for 1, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 16 patients.
What vital signs can be displayed? The system can display all vital signs obtained by the patient’s
monitor.
Will there be alarms at the remote? Yes. Visual and audible alarms are available at the remote; however,
the primary patient monitor determines the alarm limits.
Will we be able to see arrhythmias and lead connection failure messages?
Yes. The remote displays warning, caution, and system messages sent from the
patient monitor.
Will menus displayed on the patient monitor show up on the remote display? No. Patient monitor menus will not interrupt the remote display.
Is there a wireless option for connecting the patient monitor to the
VIDCO remote processor? Wireless solutions are available; however, for uninterrupted operation,
a wired connection is recommended.
Is printing available? Yes. You can use laser printers for printing code events or tabular
and graphical trend reports.
How much training is typically required? People generally feel confident with the controls after using them
for just a few minutes. On-screen menus are direct and no more than two levels
deep. A keyboard or single knob control is available.
What routine maintenance is required?
Since VIDCO’s products have no fans or moving parts to clean, they require
minimal maintenance. It is important to make sure all cables are in good condition
and the unit’s controls are functional.
I already have a display. Can I purchase just the VIDCO remote processor? Yes.
How big is VIDCO’s remote processor? VIDCO’s remote processor is a highly integrated product, which
ranges in size from 1.5 to 2.5 inches tall, 7 to 10 inches wide, and 7 to 10
inches deep.
Can we use any size display with the VIDCO remote processor? Yes. You may choose the best LCD or CRT display for your requirements.
VIDCO supports both 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024 LCD resolutions.
